A Pilgrimage of Thanksgiving
On October 14, 2005, my husband and I took the trip of a lifetime! We made a pilgrimage to Lourdes, France, and to the Catholic shrines of Italy. We celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary on May 31st, 2005 and had planned this trip for 3 years. Our special intention was to make this a pilgrimage of thanksgiving to God for the many blessings and graces He has showered on us in the last 25 years. My heart and mind overflow with the memories of this special time in our lives, so I will, as the "muse" moves me, write to preserve the wonderful moments of our journey, and hopefully, add photos when I learn how to do that! I hope this will be inspiring and uplifting to all who read these words...

How wonderful!! Too many people focus on what is "wrong" or missing from their lives, forgetting--or pushing aside--what are true blessings. It is quite inspiring to see someone give God His due, as all that is good comes only from Him. Congratulations on a most beautiful life, on your 25th anniversary--one that not many reach these days, and on your faith and "courage" to witness before the Lord. May you celebrate another 25 years!
